Twitter - A new way for me to procrastinate

So when I first heard of this magical thing called Twitter, I didn’t really know what to make of it. It didn’t really seem to be necessary and I’ll admit everytime I explain it to someone it seems unnecessary. But for some reason every time you use it you find there is a little bit of magic in the simplicity of the service.
Twitter offers you 140 characters per post (think micro-blog) and is a refreshing text driven social community that does what facebook cannot. Within the first two of three days of using Twitter I’ve found useful tech and design articles that I wouldn’t have discovered through facebook. This is due to the fact that Twitter has an entirely different audience - most people on facebook offer me useless knowledge about how hung over they are or that “finals suck”, however Twitter gives you just the right mix of non-sense with interesting news article, hot and emerging web topics, and helpful technical how-to information.
Whatever your take on Twitter, I am going to stay on top of this for a while because I understand it’s value, for those of you that are with me, come follow me on Twitter.
